When we began designing the first NINI accessories, one thing was obvious: we didn't want to make yet another leather collection. Not because leather lacks elegance — quite the opposite. But because we were convinced that in 2026, it was possible to create something more aligned with our vision.
A material that has the look, feel, and durability of leather, without its limitations.
Designing an accessory made for outdoor living
A dog doesn't spend its day on a shelf.
It runs in the woods, swims in the sea, rolls in the sand, walks through the rain, and discovers new trails. Its equipment must keep up with this lifestyle without requiring constant attention.
Leather is a noble material, but it naturally fears water, dries with difficulty, and requires regular maintenance.
We wanted the exact opposite.
A material designed to accompany every adventure, requiring no special care.
A plant-based microfiber developed to last
Our material is made from plant waste transformed into a high-end technical microfiber.
It retains the elegance and grain of traditional leather while offering everyday performance properties:

- Highly abrasion-resistant.
- Supple from the very first use.
- Easy to clean with just water.
- Hypoallergenic.
- Odor-resistant.
The result is a material that ages gracefully without losing its comfort or appearance.
A material is only valuable if it is used well
A beautiful material is not enough to create a good harness.
For many months, we worked with an animal osteopath to ensure that every width, every pressure point, and every adjustment respects the dog's natural biomechanics.
Our goal wasn't simply to make an aesthetic accessory.
We wanted to create gear that is forgotten once worn.
A harness that moves with the dog rather than restricting them.
A leash that flows naturally with your walk.
A collar that distributes pressure evenly.
